ABSTRACT
The category systems that are complicated but not steady state are open-ended in the sense that there is no l imi t to the degree of complexity that can be bui l t into the system. Since all the necessary environmental factors can be included in the system, such as temperature, humid i ty , compet i tor species, parasites, diseases, dispersal and the results of strategies imposed by man (Watt, 1968).
