ABSTRACT
From the time of evolution till today, man has been using tools to cure his pain-the only difference is that in the primitive days he used simple crude tools, whereas nowadays with advanced technology, surgical equipment has become more sophisticated, but the basic objective remains the same (5). By introducing synthetic chemicals, the traditional medicine was almost forgotten, but during recent decades due to the occurrence of serious problems caused by these chemicals, use of medicinal plants has again been revived and is receiving special attention throughout the world.
