ABSTRACT
We are at a turning point in the history of homes. The coming proliferation of
connected home devices driven by the Internet of Things (IoT), the increased
intelligence of these devices and the advent of an increasing number of
robotic devices and electronic assistants have the potential to change our
home lives. But, only those technologies that meet a defining human need
and augment and automate our existence will be adopted.
