ABSTRACT
The normal anatomy seen on an intravenous urogram consists of the following. The renal calyces drain into the renal pelvis. The renal pelvis becomes the ureter at the pelviureteric junction (PUJ). The ureter continues retroperitoneally to insert into the trigone of the bladder at the vesicoureteric junction (VUJ).
