ABSTRACT
This chapter reviews the use of liposomes in microfluidic systems. It highlights improved performance of analytical systems, describes the formation of liposomes using microfluidic channel devices, and concludes with the characterization of liposomes with the help of miniaturized systems and their use in separation processes.
