ABSTRACT
Imagination is the inspiration of research, the fodder of children’s
daydreams, the spark of invention and creativity. So it should not
be looked upon with surprise that this collection of science fiction
stories is composed by science and engineering researchers. In
addition, the field of nanotechnology has inspired innovative ideas
and products; hence that the authors of this volume work in the
science fiction arena should raise no eyebrows. However, what may
be surprising to some is the clarity, the vision, and the amazingly
interesting stories contained within this book.
