ABSTRACT

In the following sections, we will focus on the kind of noise that is an audible, unwanted, distracting, harmful, irritating, or unhindered sound. e fact that noise is invisible, non-palpable, odorless, and tasteless may be the reason why it has not received as much attention as other types of pollution, such as air pollution or water pollution. Whether we are on the street, in water, or in the air, we always hear something. It seems the entire universe is constantly ooded with sounds. For many people, persistent and escalating sources of sound are oen considered annoying. Next, we dierentiate between sound and noise, and examine when or why sound becomes noise.
