ABSTRACT
I think that this problem needs to be at the beginning of any book on insightful or “Aha!” mathematical solutions. e problem is not difficult-it is just laborious. We just start adding, and keep a close tally: 1 + 2 = 3, 3 + 3 = 6, 6 + 4 = 10, and so on.
