ABSTRACT
For a long time, the finite element method (FEM) has been a standard tool for numerically solving different engineering problems, especially those from the mechanical engineering. Today’s real world problems such as astrophysics and diffusion phenomena are highly complex, such that FEM alone is inadequate to solve them. We now describe the several limitations of FEM.
