ABSTRACT
One of the most natural interpretations of Feynman-Kac particle models relies on branching process theory, interacting particle systems, and adaptive population dynamics. In this context, mean field IPS models are often interpreted as genetic type algorithms (abbreviated GA) equipped with mutationselection transitions, on some possibly different state spaces.
