ABSTRACT
In this opening section, we review some basic definitions on Feynman-Kac models, their normalized and unnormalized distributions, and their evolution equations on general state space models. For a more detailed description, with a more refined analysis, we refer to Chapter 12, dedicated to the regularity and the stability properties of Feynman-Kac semigroups.
