Chemistry and technology of silicone polymers

Polyorganosiloxanes (organosiloxane elastomers) with linear molecular

chains have the following formula:

n m 1) R and R' - methyl; 2) R - methyl, and R' - vinyl; 3) R - methyl, a R' -

phenyl, etc.

They are prepared by the hydrolytic condensation or cocondensation of

difunctional organochlorosilanes and subsequent polymerisation of cyclic

diorganosiloxanes.
