ABSTRACT

Due to the growing practical importance of elementorganic compounds,

their chemistry and technology are developing at unprecedented speed.

Elementorganic substances are used in various fields of technology and

economy. E.g., the simplest organoaluminum compounds, aluminumtrial-

kyls, are used as a component of complex catalysts in the production of

valuable isotactic polyolefines. Some organophosphorus and organotin

substances have proved efficient against agricultural pests. Tetraethyl-and

tetramethyllead are still used as antiknock additives in fuels, etc. This

enumeration of the applications of elementorganic compounds, by no

means complete, accounts for the recent development of their industrial

production.
