ABSTRACT
This chapter deals with typical applications of energy harvesting
power supplies. The different fields of applications are described
and related system architectures and devices are introduced.
Furthermore, suitable converter principles and types for the
different scenarios are discussed. Also, examples from research and
development are given. Finally, a comparison of the properties of
the ambient energy sources in the different fields of applications is
made.
