ABSTRACT
Reliable methods to predict the fouling potential of RO feedwater are important in preventing and diagnosing fouling at the design stage and for monitoring pre-treatment performance during plant operation (Boerlage, 2007). Particles are one of the possible causes of RO fouling. Several authors have also mentioned that several types of fouling may occur simultaneously (Khedr, 2000).
