ABSTRACT
Chapter 8 Conclusions and recommendations The overarching aim of this thesis is to investigate the evolution of a tidal inlet in response to sea level rise and to evaluate the possible mitigation measures for the potential negative impacts. This objective has been achieved according to the results presented in the previous chapters. In order to achieve the main objective, four specific research questions were formulated. Conclusions are reached by elaborating these questions. Recommendations are given for aspects needing further investigations.
