ABSTRACT
The primordial gravitational accretion processes that formed the planet Earth are the basic causes for the increase in temperature, pressure, density, etc., with depth, which gave rise to the modication and separation of the original Earth-forming material into roughly concentric shells. The depth classication of these shells, that is, the crust, the mantle, the outer core, and the inner core is well known.
