ABSTRACT
Experimentation on reduced-scaled centrifuge models conserves the same stress and strains levels as the prototype using the same materials, with respect to the scaling laws (e.g. Garnier et al. 2007). Some centrifuge experiments on reinforced soft soil have already been done (Barchard 1996, Van Eekelen et al. 2003) but only on 2D models. The LCPC 3D model of the reinforcement of soft soil by stiff inclusions will be described in this paper.
