ABSTRACT
As a new technique for ground treatment, the mechanism of a multi-element composite foundation is still not well-known and the design method is not well established. Therefore, in order to spread the technique of multi-element composite foundation smoothly, more theoretical and experimental research on engineering behavior of this new composite foundation should be conducted in order to put forward effective methods of analysis (Liang et al. 2003).
