Dynamic earth pressures and earth pressure cell measurements

This paper investigates the seismic response of embedded retaining walls in dry cohesionless soils using centrifuge testing facilities at Schofield Centre, Cambridge. Although, there are not many reports of complete failure of retaining walls in dry cohesionless soils, the structures have been reported to suffer a loss of serviceability due to large deformations.
