ABSTRACT
In this chapter, a brief introduction to the basics of thermoelectric generation is followed by an overview of materials most suited for applications at relatively low temperatures (<150°C) together with the cost of commercially available modules and their power outputs. Natural and waste sources of low temperature heat are discussed and technologies are employed in thermoelectric harvesting reviewed.
