ABSTRACT

Abstract The repellency of fluoropolymer finishes depends on the structures of fluorocarbon segment and nonfluorinated segment of the molecule, the orientation of the fluorocarbon tail, and the distribution and the amount of the fluorocarbon moiety on the surface. In this work, based on the new strategy for introduction of double semifluorinated segments as side groups, an effective and powerful water-and oil-repellent fluoropolymer was developed.
