ABSTRACT
Regulatory agencies in the United States currently have testing guidelines for chemicals and materials with high potential for accidental, inadvertent, or clinical human exposure. These substances are intended for cutaneous (and ocular) administration as drugs and biologicals to humans and animals and for commercial chemical (industrial, environmental, occupational, and domestic) applications.
