ABSTRACT
Chapters 4 and 5 found that enlarging size and increasing subsidies could help to improve the performance of rainwater harvesting. However, according to interviews with plant managers, operation of many rainwater harvesting plants was unsuccessful despite the scale and subsidies. Hence the size of systems and subsidies may not be critical factors affecting the operation of the rainwater harvesting systems. In Chapter 6, the decisive factors affecting the operation of the rainwater harvesting plant will be analysed.
