ABSTRACT
Presentation Patients will have varied symptoms based on the distribution of their disease. In
general, patients will present with a neurologic deficit that can be traced to the carotid circulation. Weakness, dizziness and drop attacks suggest a global event or vertebrobasilar disease and not carotid stenosis.
