ABSTRACT
The Boston of Old State House, the Boston of Old South Meet ing Place, the Boston of the first public school, the Boston of Old North Church, and the Boston of Beacon Hill were all frequently attended and specially considered in the life and activities of notable citizen surgeon Zabdiel Boylston. Brookline, then known as Muddy River, was the origin of this unique American surgeon pioneer.
