ABSTRACT
Hidradenitis is a chronic, frequently suppurative, cicatricial inflammatory disease of those areas of the body with a high density of apocrine glands, especially the axillae and the groin. Occasionally it is associated with severe and inflammatory forms of acne such as acne conglobata.
