ABSTRACT
As you learn how to m anage and treat patients with m alignant diseases, m any o f the clinical challenges involve dealing with potential side effects o f chem o-therapeutic drugs. These clinical problems can be solved m ore readily if there is an under standing o f the m echanism s o f action o f the various chem otherapeutic agents. This knowledge will provide the ability to predict w hen such side effects m ay present, and hopefully to prevent them .
