ABSTRACT

C lin ica l: Approximately 60% of patients are asymptomatic at the time of presentation and come to the attention of the clinical hematologist because of findings on routine laboratory testing. W hen clinical symptoms are present, the most common are related to infections due to neutropenia. The most common findings on physical examination are splenomegaly (seen in 35%) and hepato­ megaly (seen in 20%). There is an association between T-LGL and rheumatoid arthritis. Hypergammaglobulinemia is a common finding.
