ABSTRACT
In previous chapters, isotropic molecular tumbling has been
discussed and the molecules have been treated as rigid spherical
objects. These assumptions are very useful, but in many cases they
lead to oversimplifications. In this chapter, the issue of anisotropic
rotation described by a diffusion tensor is discussed. Moreover, a
combined effect of internal dynamics and overall rotation of the
entire molecule is considered.
