× 38 mm π = 20,471 rpm

And with 50 mm diameter ring:

nmax = 134 × 60 ×12 × 25.4 mm/min

× 50 mm π = 15,354 rpm

Thus higher spindle speed and thereby production rate can be achieved with the use of smaller diameter ring for the identical combination of ringtraveller (Fig. 13.1).
