ABSTRACT
The essential part of the sewing machine is feeding mechanism. This chapter describes the different types of feeding mechanism and their functional requirements on sewing machine. The elements of feeding section and their importance are discussed. The working of feeding mechanism is explained with clear illustration. The second part of the chapter discusses about the different lubrication systems used in the sewing machine and their working.
