ABSTRACT

Geophysical surveys have reported a major low resistivity zone (2-10 ohmm) in the southwestern part of the Puga geothermal area, which are indicative of the presence of thermal water in the subsurface. Thermal waters of Puga field are near neutral to weakly alkaline-pH 6 to 8.3. Major cations and anions, in the order of decreasing concentrations, are Na, K, Cs, Li, Mg, Rb, Fe, and HCO
