If you click on ‘Exams’ and then ‘MRCGP exam’ you should be able to see the link to the ‘Applied Knowledge Test’ web page, or you can search for AKT in the search box at the top of the page. It is essential that you read through this web page well before you sit the AKT. It will also tell you everything you need to know about applying to sit the AKT, what you need to learn and how you are notifi ed of your result. You should read this entire page and open up and read all the links too. By working through this book, you will experience most of the different question formats, so you will become used to answering the different styles of questions.
