ABSTRACT

Experimental studies of the special features of the electromagnetic excitation of elastic oscillations in the magnetic fluid in the megahertz frequency range were carried out for the first time in the Laboratory of Magnetoacoustic measurements of the Department of Physics of the Southwest State University (Kursk) [25, 26, 189-193]. These investigations were carried out because of the fact that the experimental data on the excitation of the ultrasonic oscillations in the magnetic fluid at frequencies of 16-26.7 kHz [21, 194) where not sufficient for understanding the physical mechanisms of transformation of the oscillations of the magnetic fluid, in particular, there were no data for verifying the theory of the flat magnetic fluid emitter (MFE) [24].
