ABSTRACT

The expression for the perturbation of the magnetisation of the medium by a flat sound wave will be derived [3]. The perturbation of the magnetisation of the medium by a flat sound wave as the result of the dependence of magnetisation of the medium on its density was taken into account for the first time in a theoretical study by I.E. Tarapov [2] and subsequently by B.I. Pirozhkov and M.I. Shliomis [12]. They showed that the perturbation of magnetisation is accompanied by the perturbation of the strength of the magnetic field. In contrast to [12], in which the solutions of the magnetisation of the magnetic fluid were evaluated assuming that the sound wave is isothermal, here it will be assumed that the wave is adiabatic and, in contrast to [2], the phenomenon of relaxation of magnetisation will be taken into account.
