ABSTRACT
We examine the most probable physical mechanisms of the absorption of sound waves in a magnetic fluid: the Stokes mechanism of absorption of ultrasound, the mechanism of relative movement of the phases, the mechanism of internal heat exchange, magnetohydrodynamic processes, relaxation of magnetisation, dynamic processes.
