ABSTRACT

The French-American-British Cooperative Group proposed a classification for chronic Tcell leukemias and designated four subgroups: (1) LGL Leukemia, (2) T-prolymphocytic leukemia, (3) Adult T-cell leukemia/lymphoma, and (4) Cutaneous T-cell Lymphoma/ Sezary syndrome (1). The clinicopathological features of chronic T-cell leukemias will be discussed in this chapter, except for the category of T-prolymphocytic leukemia which is described in Chapter 24. Other less common chronic T-cell lymphoproliferative disor ders not included in the FAB classification will also be discussed (Table 1).
