ABSTRACT
As mentioned earlier, wave propagation analysis finds important applications in inverse problems of force reconstruction, identification of material properties, damage detection, and health monitoring. In this chapter we limit ourselves to two important applications of identification of the source from the measured response and the detection of the damages using suitable models and measured responses.
