ABSTRACT
The previous chapter discussed how to prepare a request for proposal (RFP) document related to a software package acquisition. It also briefly touched on both the selection steps and some of the evaluation considerations related to vendor responses — the proposals — that a vendor delivers in reply to an RFP. The focus of this chapter is on proposal evaluation or ultimately, the actual selection of a software package.
