Software Engineering (SE) software projects shall comply with a set of Software Verification and Validation (V&V) Policies, which are established, maintained, and used to achieve quality in all phases of the software life cycle. Justified and necessary departures from these policies may be authorized in response to a written request. A permanent board shall be established by SE to control and maintain the SE Software V&V Policies.
