ABSTRACT
Although it is now more than 30 years since the discovery of the first radio pulsars, the topic is still an active one and there are more unanswered questions than there are satisfactory answers. Nearly 1500 isolated pulsars have been cataloged from radio searches; however, emission has been detected from only a small number of them over the entire band of the electromagnetic spectrum from radio wavelengths to high energy gamma rays.
