ABSTRACT
Surface modeling of soil properties has become an important topic in soil science research. Soil surface modeling has been enhanced by the advancement of technology that enables the collection of remotely sensed imagery and DEMs as ancillary data for use in digital soil mapping. Surface modeling with ancillary data has attracted research in pedometrics, because soil surveying and the analysis of soil properties is still expensive and timeconsuming (Minasny and McBratney, 2007).
