ABSTRACT

System development methodologies are communication vehicles that can serve as powerful tools for spreading and implementing organizational culture in an open and lively manner. The diagram shows how that business investment is generally distributed across the system's development life cycle (SDLC). The investment or cost for system development projects should always be considered early in the SDLC, and must be effectively managed throughout the entire SDLC. Adaptation includes considering the technologies used, reviewing the project's objectives and scope, examining the characteristics of resources, the client's personnel, and technology uses within the client's organization as elements to be taken into account before starting any project. Each methodology prescribes the life cycle process in a different way, dividing the process into more or fewer steps, describing the activities in greater or lesser depth, and considering the application of many or only some technologies.
