ABSTRACT

Specific and measurable project objectives have been prepared to guide the systems development effort. The requirements represent the demand and need for features and functionality of the system to be developed. The process of preparing the technical approach requires great creativity and rigor, and looks to the analyst to provide a number of solutions, including those that are already known and those that have been newly designed specifically to solve the problems that face the organization. The specification first considers the resolution of aspects related to the outside requirements, where external dependencies can affect the operation of our information system. As a manageable number of units is achieved, a review of the interrelationships between those different modules should be carried out in a manner similar to how we examined the system’s external interfaces. When considering such events, the analyst will identify the information that the system provides to the user, and the information that the user provides to the system.
