ABSTRACT

This book presents simpli˜ed relations and computer programs for fundamental problems that one would encounter in practice. The structures that make up most of the complex systems can be divided into beams, plates, and shells. Analysis is presented for these structures as well as complex systems composed of a series of plates. A general program that has variable properties is also developed for elastic and viscoelastic media. Thus, solutions in acoustic and structural wave propagation of these media can be solved. All of this analysis provides the reader with methods for approaching a host of the problems of elastic and acoustic analysis of today’s structures and surrounding media.
