ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT: One of the main results of CE-NET (Concurrent Engineering Network) is the roadmap for the collaborative enterprise 2010. The term collaborative enterprise captures the shift from the existing organisational approaches to more dynamic and re-configurable peer-to-peer networks and from ownership to sustainable services. Several complementary perspectives, namely social, customer, business, workplace, technology, and legal, have been concurrently considered to build up the collaborative enterprise vision and roadmap. The roadmapping process and the relationship among today’s circumstances, the CE vision, gaps, research needs and solutions will be explained. State-of-the-art, vision, gaps, needs and the required solutions, in the short, medium and long-term, to achieve the vision for product, service and organisation development of collaborative enterprising 2010 will be outlined.
