ABSTRACT
Results on the long jump event have been experiencing a progressive steady state within the last 30 years. The Biomechanics Department of the Olympic Training Center (CAR) has been developing a project with the aim to automatically and instantaneously identify the null jumps of this event and measure the real distance from the take-off. This development was intended to be an approach to the future real time measuring systems in Track and Field.
