ABSTRACT

Cardiorespiratory endurance, one of the health-related components of physical fitness, is the ability of circulatory and respiratory systems to supply energy during physical activity. It involves the ability of the heart and lungs to supply oxygen to the working muscle for an extended period of time, which is a good indicator of aerobic capacity and health-risk status (Blair et al., 1989). It is also related to the body’s ability to use the large muscles for prolonged periods of dynamic, moderate-to-high intensity exercise.
