ABSTRACT

Because of the fast movements during a golf swing Golf coaches (independent from their educational level) are not able to acquire all the movement parameters correctly. The ability of perception is affected by the visual ratings of the coaches. This ability is limited. Through the saccadic eye movement (short, fitful eye movements) no information reception occurs for a short time. The estimation of body angles and pressure distributions, respectively, during the golf swing is not possible (Ballreich & Kuhlow-Ballreich, 1992; Klaas, 2004).
